After a belated start of the spring season due to cold weather from March till beginning of April a warm and sunny second half of April and first half of May accelerated spring-phenology. The graph compares spring 2013 (red dots) with the long term distribution. One can see that leaf unfolding of larch started end of April which is about two to three weeks later than the average. Lilac flowered quite in time in the first days of March - cock“s foot and black elder flowering was observed about one week earlier than usual.
